Week of July 20^th 2006 - The Wedding

.. on Thursday Betty and I had lunch with ‘The Sisters’ at the Northwood’s Pub .. my mother Peg is from a large family and all but one of her Sisters live in Eau Claire .. they are most often referred to as ‘The Sisters’ .. the three Sisters that joined my mother and us are Ione, Elayne and Annie .. they have developed a unique way communicating .. all of them can be talking at the same time on different topics non stop .. it is most entertaining ..

.. my sister Judy ( Scottsdale AZ ) had made all the arrangements to have a Market Dinner prior to Heathers Wedding .. so for dinner we met at the Green Mill where Judy had set up a private room .. and it was a most enjoyable evening .. and a great photo opt for me ..

.. on Friday after we had breakfast with my sister Judy and Jim .. Betty headed out with the Gals for Carson Park and after taking care of a few errands I drove to the Minneapolis Airport to pickup my son Jon who flew in from the Bahamas for the Wedding ..

.. in the evening we went to the Hawaiian Wedding Rehearsal Dinner that was held at the Wild Ridge Golf Course on the West side of Eau Claire .. the dinner was in a sheltered area that was open to the Golf Course on three sides .. it really worked out great for the dinner and was another great family photo opt .. I was not sure if my son Jeff was going to make it from Scottsdale for the Friday night Rehearsal Dinner so I was most pleased when I saw him walk in .. everyone had a most enjoyable evening !! ..

.. on Saturday after Breakfast, a visit to my Mothers and a trip to the Mall and before the Wedding  we had lunch at Culver’s Ice Cream Parlor .. the Wedding was at 02:30 pm at the First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire and it went off without a hitch as planned .. later the Reception Dinner and Dance were held at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in downtown Eau Claire .. it was a most special evening .. Debbie had crossed every ‘T’ and had dotted every ‘I’ and the Ramada Staff did an outstanding job throughout the entire evening .. and I even danced with my Mother ..
