I got busted
again this
morning for
taking photos in
the Hospital ..
at about 08:30
am Betty was
wheeled down to
the Second Floor
to have her
Ultra Sound done
.. I was able to
be in the Ultra
Sound Room
during Betty's
procedure
.. it was most
interesting and
yes I did take
photos .. after
Betty made it
back to her Room
we waited for
the results ..
while we were
waiting I talked
a Technician
into taking me
to the Cath Lab
where Betty had
her Procedure on
Monday .. once
there I talked a
Doctor into a
tour of the Cath
Lab and the
Support area ..

from there .. it
is really a high
tech area .. at
about 03:00 pm
we got word from
the Doctors that
Betty's Ultra
Sound came thru
just fine and
they said that
after one more
night of
observation
Betty can plan
to return to
Fort Myers in
the morning ..
GREAT NEWS ..
..
after dinner
before Cheryl
and I stopped by
to see Betty I
found a most
delightful Ice
Cream treat at
the Marble Slab
Creamery .. I
savored it and
when we got to
Betty's Room I
offered to
'share' it with
her .. she ate
the whole thing
!! .. right in
front of me ..
well it is good
to having her
feel better .. I
think .. ?? ..
April 17th
2008 Thursday
-
Cheryl and I packed up and
drove to the
Hospital ..
once the Doctor
checked out
Betty and told
here that he
would be
discharging her
I headed out for
Fort Myers (
about 07:00 am )
.. after Betty
did get her
walking papers Cheryl
and Betty headed
out for her home
( about 09:00 am
) .. my daughter and
her family will
be arriving from
Wisconsin later
today so once I
made it to Dee
Light I was busy
getting ready
for them ..
April 23rd
2008 Wednesday
-
Betty is on the
'road to
recovery' ..
tonight we ended
up having dinner
and Ice Cream
with John and
Mary Kay at Fort
Myers Beach ..
Betty's energy
is down but she
was able to
enjoy the outing
..
